Suncoast Care Guide ("SCG," "we") helps families in Pinellas County, Florida find senior care. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect, how we use it, and the promises we make about it.
The short version: we only collect what you give us, we use it only to help you find care, we share it only with the care communities you ask to be connected with, and we never sell your information. Period.
What we collect
- What you tell us: your name, phone number, email, and what you share about your family's care situation (care needs, timing, budget range, location preferences) — through our contact form, by phone, or by text.
- Basic website analytics: standard, aggregate usage information about visits to this site. Any optional analytics tools load only if you accept them in the cookie notice.
How we use it
- To contact you and provide free, personal guidance on senior care options.
- To connect you with senior living communities and care providers — only ones you choose to be connected with.
- To keep simple records of our work together (tours, follow-ups, move-ins) so we can serve you well.
How our free service is paid for
Our guidance is free to families. When a family moves into a community we referred them to, that community pays Suncoast Care Guide a referral fee. This is disclosed to every family before any introduction is made, and it never changes the price a community charges you — our agreements require that referred families are charged the same as anyone else.
What we never do
- We never sell your information to anyone.
- We never share your information with a community or provider without your consent.
- We never send spam or hand your contact information to marketing lists.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your information only as long as we're helping you and for the recordkeeping our business and Florida law require. You can ask us at any time to see what we have or to delete it — email andrea@suncoastcareguide.com or call (727) 349-1032, and we'll take care of it promptly.
Security
Your information is stored in access-controlled systems used only by the small Suncoast Care Guide team. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your family's information the way we'd want ours treated.
Terms of use
By using this website and our services you agree to these simple terms:
- Suncoast Care Guide provides guidance and referrals. We are not a medical provider, law firm, or financial advisor, and nothing we share is medical, legal, or financial advice.
- Care decisions belong to you and your family. We work hard to share accurate, current information about communities, but final details (pricing, availability, services) should always be confirmed directly with the community.
- Our referral service is provided free to families and is supported by facility-paid referral fees, as described above.
- These terms and this policy are governed by Florida law.
